Fitness 2 A Tee’s 8 – 10 week Golf Conditioning Program consists of 3 elements:
Evaluation: A 12 point evaluation is the starting point. They include posture, strength, and flexibility evaluations to identify problematic movement patterns.
2 Week Segment: Your physical limitations will be addressed during the initial 2 week segment with movements tailor made for each golfer’s unique needs. For example we will address some of the more common physical faults like, backswing sway, reverse spine angle or dipping, lower body lunge, casting and lower body rotation.
Conditioning Segment: After the initial 2 week segment, we’ll progress to the main conditioning segment. This is a comprehensive program where we will enhance all the physical attributes that will lead to improved golf potential. This section is unique for in-season, pre-season and off-season needs.
Physical limitations and lack of conditioning are probably affecting your golf swing. Golf is a sport and requires conditioning to take your game to the next level and avoid injury. This is true for beginners as well as seasoned players.

Specific Training for Specific Seasons
Pre-Season is the time to get ready to play golf. The Fitness2ATee pre-season program will focus on flexibility, power, balance and cardio.
Flexibility will allow you to move through a great range allowing you to generate greater force.
Power training will train your muscles to contract in an explosive manner and increase club head speed.
Balance your body from all sides is key to maintaining the proper relationship between your club face and the ball.
Cardio fitness will become evident during a round of golf. Fatigue will change your swing.
In-Season is the time that you practice and play more golf. Fitness2ATee will focus on maintaining flexibility and improve core stability, keeping you injury free. This is the time for coordinating your movements and feeding the need for speed, resulting in longer more consistent shots. In a split second you must execute your downswing sequence of hips then shoulders then arms then club - consistently with power to improve your game.
Core Stability will increase your ability to maintain correct alignment throughout the golf swing, repeatedly.
Off-Season is the time of year that the Fitness2ATee program will focus on flexibility, balance and overall strength. Flexibility will produce force thru a full range of motion, do it at a high rate of speed and under specific levels of fatigue resulting in more power and consistency.
Strengthening is not about how much weight you can lift but how your body can produce force during a specific function like the golf swing.
